Weigh In #7

So I got lucky and I didn't gain any weight over Thanksgiving. I didn't lose any weight either, but that is ok. I am just going to have to start trying harder again. Get back into working out and eating good again. I did do my workout today. I did the Cardio Max DVD and I even did level 2. I am not going to take Molly for a walk tonight. For one I am not going to be home and two, if it doesnt stop raining she wont be able to go. However, it is suppose to turn to snow and my Fiance will probably take her out if that happens. So another thing that we have to worry about this time of year is Holiday Parties. Whether its for work or family, they can be hard with all the snack food and free drinks. Here is one piece of advice DON"T DRINK!! Drinks are a waist of calories, however if you are going to drink, take your time and sip them make them last and only do it everyother drink. Have a diet pop or water in between each one. For women I read that instead of taking your big purse, take a clutch and that way you have that in one hand and your drink in the other and then you will be less likely to snack. Don't think that just because all of that food is there that you have to eat it all. Eat only till your full and make smart choices such as the veggie tray instead of the chips and dip. Another thing I read is to wear tighter fitting clothes, that way when you start to over eat and get bloated you will notice it sooner. You are more aware of your body in tighter fitting clothes. Note: this does not mean to wear skin tight, to small clothes. Just not baggies sweaters and such. So good luck this holiday season and wish me luck that I can lose the 2lbs till my next goal of losing 15lbs and being under 140lbs.
