So today is another weigh in and once again I was afraid to get on the scale. Once again I didn't need to be. I have lost another pound this week, putting me at 142lbs. So I have now lost a total of 12lbs. I am only 3lbs away from my next goal!! YAY!! I am excited. Although I have hit a snag, I have discovered that I have shin splints and they are very painful. I couldn't even finish my workout yesterday. I had gotten all the way through level one of the Power Sculpt DVD and level one of my cardio DVD, it was at level two that I started to have problems. I tried to work through it at first but it just got worse. So, they say that is can be your shoes, if they are to old and have lost the support that I need (which it could be), or if I am not doing enough stretches and my muscles are tearing to much, or that I went to intense to fast and again my muscles are tearing to much. So I went out and bought new shoes last night and an ankle brace. I am also going to take a couple of days off. I had started doing the power sculpt DVD and the cardio DVD back to back and I had added weights to the cardio level, so that may be part of it that I am going to intense to fast, so I am going to put space between the cardio and the power sculpt. I am also going to do more leg stretches before my DVDs and hope that the pain goes away. I also took my measurements today, and here they are:
Bust: 36in (no change)
Waist: 30in (no change)
Hips: 40in (no change)
Thigh: R: 22in (2in lost) L: 22in (1 1/2in lost)
Upper arm: R: 11 1/2in (no change) L: 11 1/2in ( 1/2 in gained)
So the only place that I saw any real improvement was my thighs. I am not going to complain though having lost 12lbs. I cant wait to see what I lose by Thanksgiving. My Dad is coming up to visit and I would like for there to be a noticeable difference. Wish me luck!!
