Weigh In #9

So I reached my goal! I am now under 140lbs, I am 139lbs. I can't believe it, I never thought that I would still be losing weight. This is the most weight that I have ever lost in my entire life!! I am now down 15lbs and counting. My fiance is now in a size 34 jeans and has lost roughly 35+ pounds. It is so much easier that we are doing this together, it makes it easy to support eachother and stop one another from eating things we don't need to eat when we are doing this together. So my reward for reaching this goal was to try on my wedding dress. This is something that I was really scared about and was wanting to keep putting off. What if it still didn't fit? I was 145lbs when I bought it and last tried it on and it would zip but was super tight. Since I had bought it I went up to 154lbs and did not even want to think about trying it on again. So trying it on now was something that I was really nervous about and almost put off. However, I went over to my Mother-In-Laws ( I keep my dress over there to prevent Molly's hair from getting on it and also I don't want Faithful my cat to pee on it or something) to try it on. She helped me get into it and zipped it up... It went up without a problem!! OMG I was so happy I can't even tell you. It was even to big in places and that is the best feeling in the world. So I have another 4lbs to lose before April to be content with my weight for the Wedding/honeymoon, however my ultimate goal is to lose another 15lbs and get down to 125lbs. My next short term goal is to get where I am content at 135lbs. I am coming up on my one year mark since I started to lose weight and I would like to think that I am a success story, even though my story is not finished yet. I have 15lbs to go. I am hoping that it wont take another year to lose these 15lbs, I don't think I will. Last year I didn't really work out all that much ( I didn't workout during the summer at all) and I wasn't eating all that great. I am still learning but it's nice to know that what I am doing is working and I am doing it the right way. Diet and exercise is the only way to go, fad diets don't work in the long term. That is something that I have learned and I am going to stick to trying to be healthy. Which my BMI is now out of the overweight zone and now back into the healthy zone!! I am now healthy. My Fiance is almost healthy, when he started to lose weight he was just inside of obese and is now out of obese and almost out of overweight!! I am so proud of him. He was about 205lbs when he started and is now down to 170lbs. His goal is to get down to 165lbs, which is a healthy weight for his height and size. Wish us luck!
